When exactly is that immersion happening?

There's nothing in the air in Latin America that will make you learn the Spanish faster.

Real immersion is using the language all day every day.

You work in that language, you only speak that language at home, you only watch, read or listen to content in that language.

Forget about the stupid youtuber channels and TV shows you watch in your native language.

You only watch content in the target language.

That's real immersion.

If you think that's not realistic, you're wrong.

Disciplined people do it, with excellent results.

Personally, it's not for me.

Because I like to learn more than one language at the same time, while also continuing to listen and read in the languages that I learned before.

To maintain them and improve them.

And I use memorisation through associations to accelerate the learning process aniway.

What's my point?

My point is that if you're telling yourself you're learning the language by living in the country.

You're lying to yourself.

Unless you're completely delusional, you probably knew that already.

You can continue to lie to yourself or you can start working on your language skills seriously with a proper learning plan.
